My question is: how can I create a particular object and put it in my game in order to use it? I really don't know how to work with different programs which are available on different sites like modethesims.com. I can't even understand the meaning of CAS or other short forms. Can you explain how to create something?

CAS abbreviation comes from Create A Sim. In order to create an object that you can later use in your game, you need to visit one of the sites mentioned and download an appropriate tool. On the download page of every application, the developer provides a brief introduction on how to use the tool. All the programs have a Help menu that I strongly suggest to use. It's also advised to use Google in order to find tutorials or instructions about a specific program.
I can't update The Sims 3. It says that they couldn't connect to EA Games Download Manager. When I play The Sims 3, it crashes after a couple of minutes. What can I do?

It happened to me too. Just reinstall the download manager to the latest version :D
The Sims 3 is installing but I can't play it. Can you help?

First, make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements to run The Sims 3 game:
Processor: 2.0 GHz P4 or equivalent;
RAM: 1 GB;
Video Card: 128 MB with support for Pixel Shader 2.0;
The latest version of DirectX 9.0c
OS: Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows VIsta;
HDD Space: At least 6.1 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB of additional space for custom content and saved games.
If the requirements are fulfilled, uninstall it, run CCleaner and install the game again. Also, update DirectX utility and your video card drivers. If you still have issues, try to find another solution using the official forum.
